nov/21/04 - BRADY attends the official launch party for "madonna in art," which is finally released in the united states. a book signing with the artists and creator of the book, and a slide-show of some of the book's images are part of the night's festivities. the book is made available at border's, barnes and noble, and the moma design store in new york city.

jun/00 - BRADY attends the exhibit "keith haring: the sva years" at the school of visual arts in new york. just days later, BRADY visits the tony shafrazi gallery for their then-current jean-michel basquiat collection.
apr/00 - "aim high," the short film starring BRADY as a united states marine hopeful, makes its way to american shores as part of the nyu first-run film festival. the film, directed by italian/ french director michel zampino, also toured the european film festival circuit the same spring.
dec/29/99 - BRADY attends the "rock style" exhibit at the new york metropolitan museum of art's costume institute. the collection featured pieces created for, and worn by, rock's most awe-inspiring artists, including bjork and madonna.
sep/30/99 - BRADY moves once again, this time to new york city.
apr/09/99 - with his latest paintings featured in the collaborative art event "spring roll '99," BRADY sells his first two paintings. the miami beach event also leads to his first commissioned piece.
oct/99 - BRADY attends the miami art museum's exhibit "mirror images: women, surrealism, and self-representation," which features works by frida kahlo, remedios varo, leonor fini, and leonora carrington.
sep/08/98 - with partner-in-crime sara marie achilli, BRADY finishes "continued toe-touching," the second book in the "travel log of bijou clochard and duvet vedette" series. The next day, BRADY begins his 9-day cross-country move to miami beach, florida.
aug/29/98 - BRADY participates in the "evening of high art" group exhibition in san francisco.
aug/98 - the "tree of inspiration" series begins with the preliminary trunk panel. it will be another six years before the left bough is realized.
may/29/98 - BRADY attends "pop," the special event party for the opening of the keith haring retrospective at the san francisco museum of modern art. visits to the 10 keith haring sculptures placed throughout the city are not far behind.
oct/97 - BRADY completes "where our toes have touched," a collaborative art adventure book with co-writer sara marie achilli.
may/16/97 - BRADY finishes the short film, "monotony," an edited piece of "found footage" which is set to music by the art of noise.
may/14/97 - "allusions," BRADY's first short film is completed. the piece is inspired by the artwork of frida kahlo, remedios varo, and leonora carrington, as well as the poetry of kahlo and pablo neruda.
jan/97 - BRADY finishes up a second week's worth of filming on the disney film "flubber." blink and you'll miss his brief moments on celluloid.
jun/96 - BRADY premieres his short video subject "styrofoam head," which is set to the music of bjork's of "it's oh so quiet."
may/31/95 - midway through college, BRADY moves to san francisco. once there, he begins attending san francisco state university and majors in cinema production, with minor emphases in art history and drama.
nov/11/94 - pedro zamora, one of BRADY's most significant personal mentors, dies in miami, florida at the age of 22.
sep/94 - during his final year at arizona state university, and while living on his own for the first time, BRADY begins painting "chain reaction."
may/94 - BRADY portrays the lead role of "the professor" in an asu production of eugene ionesco's "the lesson."
jan/91 - BRADY begins writing his first novel "thicker than mud." (unfortunately, over a decade later, it is still a work in progress.)
mar/90 - as part of the "paint-a-frida/ paint-a-picasso" contest in his high school spanish class, BRADY completes a copy of pablo picasso's "jacqueline with flowers."
sep/87 - at age 12, BRADY's interest in mixing/remixing music begins.
nov/16/85 - with his family in tow, BRADY moves to scottsdale, arizona.
oct/84 - BRADY enrolls in what will end up being his only art classes to date (outside of junior high and high school), under the direction of a certain linda maravich, whom also happens to be the mother of his childhood best friend susan.
dec/29/74 - BRADY is born in elk grove village, illinois. at the age of one, his family moves to lake zurich, illinois.
